Sony Hapz1es transfer

Hello , Curious if anyone has an answer to some questions regarding the Sony Hapz1es . I am transferring 25,000 files . Started earlier today at 3pm . Its now 8pm . 1300 files in 5 hours . Is this average ? I have the Sony hardwired to my router . My Macmini and external drive are not hardwired to my router. Is this considered a wireless transfer ? Should i stop the transfer and wire the Mini ? Is it possible to stop the transfer and continue on ? Thanks,Mike

Thanks , Knghifi .I was worried about stopping the process . Stopped it and it restarted where it left off . Notice now the file takes about nine seconds per . Major progress !

Yes.  Transfer software is running on the mini and has to wirelessly send the data to router.

Should i stop the transfer and wire the Mini ?
Yes.   Hardwire everything involve in the transfer.
Hell yes.
I loaded my iTunes library into the Hap via Ethernet at first, which was about 120gb then. I've since begun loading my cd collection which is now taking up about 250gb with many more cd's to go.

The itunes transfer was long, and subsequent rips from a mac cd USB take about 15 minutes each.  Once you add more files as I've been via my home wifi, you'll find rebuilding the database takes hours as well.

I started backing up all of my music files onto a 3TB portable drive - just in case - and that, with my current music, took 24 hours.
