I would like to know if any of you has ever compared these two speakers. I have never heard the Harbeth monitor 30 but I read very good reviews about it. I will be very grateful if you could be so kind to share your personal opinions with me.
I have both speakers. Monitor 30 is a more precise speaker and clearer than the Guarneri. The latter is obviously colored, but sounds fuller. I prefer Harbeth. Perotto
Have not heard the Harbeth's, but I would be very surprised if it would compare to the Guarneri's. I listened to the Spendor 5e's and compared these to my G's in my room. The 5e's are tremendous for the money, and would have been a real contender if the G's were not available, though not really in the same league as the G's IMHO.
