Will a headphone cable require a balanced 1/4 inch jack? I have never used a headphone with this unit and was thinking of buying a siennheiser 600 for late night listening.I will need a 12 foot cable.Thanks Don
IF you want to get a longer cable, I'd recommend the Cardas replacement cables for the Senheiser line. The sound is much more liquid using the Cardas vs. the stock Senheiser.
When you buy a Senn 600, it will come with a 1/4" jack. This is all that is required for this unit. Very good sound (I had the same preamp and headphones).
