Some cheap AC power cables from Amazon

I found these from Amazon and they are fairly cheap and most of them are below $50 bucks.  I did try out the WAudio cables for my system.  For the most part, it gives some positive improvements - better details, better soundstage, more separation and less edgy sound.  The sound becomes more liquid and you can see deeper into the soundstage.  The down side is the leading edge has lost some edge.  The sound is slightly warm and the bass is not quite as fast.  If you have a bright system I guess it would give a nice balance.

My guess is they all come from China.  The cable materials all look the same or very similar so I wouldn't be surprised if they all source from the same supplier.  I only tried out the WAudio, but reading from some of the reviews, the most common feedback is that the sound is on the warm side, and since they all seem to have similar construction, it makes sense.

If you are looking for some decent but cheap AC cables to improve your sound, I would give these a try.  They are close to dirt cheap especially compared to how much cables cost these days.

I also tried out the Supra AC cables from Madisound but the sound is a bit off and I didn't like it at all.

I popped off the IEC end and diy’d them to a ZeroSurge (with a better outlet) and an AQ PowerQuest 3.
10 ga. CU, fully shielded with CU plugs.
3 for $87.

They look quite nice. Appear to be copper plugs. 10 awg wire for that price? Not sure one could diy for that price.
