Snowballs

Did anyone watch the Buffalo Bills-Miami Dolphins game last night?  The Buffalo fans were pelting the Dolphins with snow/ice balls and it became so bad that they halted the game and asked the fans to desist.   the thought of 300 pound, fully padded gladiators who hit each other in high speed collisions being scared of a few snowballs was hilarious.

What’s the Audio equivalent?  Someone going ballistic when a fly lands on their $100K power amp?

Back in the ’90s betting on pro football was a hobby of mine, so I used to watch a lot of foot ball in those days.. I remember one game, it was San Diego @ The NY Giants, (Kent Graham was the QB for The Giants at the time) and the Giants gave up a big lead and ultimately lost to The Chargers. The Giants fans turned into animals and a bunch of them started throwing chunks of ice at their own team. It actually turned in to quite a big thing & I think I remember hearing that many of them were prosecuted by using the video evidence and I think a bunch of them lost their season tickets.

I am pretty sure that I took The Giants for that one because I liked them at home, in the winter, against a Southern California team. Hardly the first or last bet I ever lost, but I never bet on a Kent Graham QBed team again.

@knotscott  , I must have missed that game.  Were the refs throwing any flags for the Tackling-Tom-Brady penalty?

I am not sure there is an audio equivalent.  Maybe if you were playing something too loud that the neighbors didn't like and they waited for you to step outside and then they nailed you with a snow/iceball?
