SimAudio Moon - Impossible to get a hold of for support?
I am thinking about investing some serious money into buying a Moon Audio 861 amp. It sounds so good! But their support seems to be horrible. I sent a email to them and never got a reply. I called their number in Canada and got a option to 'hit #6 for english' in which I did but I got French. If my amp ever had issues, how would I get a hold of them? They seem unreachable.

@dman777 What was the reason once again as why you tried to contact them? I usually go through my reseller first and then contact the manufacturer if my questions are left unanswered. Same process with repairs. Sometimes, it takes many attempts to get through. Posting on forum such as this one is not always the best place to start with. As you experienced it, it can degenerate quite rapidly. BTW, I live roughly at 12 miles away from their shop in Boucherville, Qc, Canada. I owned 4 piece of equipment from Moon which is BTW highly regarded here in Quebec. Even if French is the official province language, a lot of the people have become bilingual over time. Same with Ontario, New Brunswick and other provinces. Business such as Simaudio are dealing globally so there’s no point here to fear about communication. The load of requests sent by email is probably shared among many employees who are not dedicated to customer service per se. Anyway, Costa answered you back and I hope you will have a pleasant experience from there. Simaudio products are exceptional products. Just make sure you audition them before you drop your dough in there. |
@dman777 Seeking to understand- if you were planning to buy an online dealer or had a local dealer. I guess it doesn’t matter. Enjoy your journey! |
