Silver IC cable between Phono and Preamp

Hello Guys,

I'm thinking to buy 1.5mt RCA silver cable to connect my Grado PH1 Phono Stage to my Pass Labs X1
Now I have a 2mt. RCA Groneberg Quattro Reference, a very good european (Germany) copper ic cable but I'm curious to try a silver connection to get more detail , more refined hights and more "caramello" mids from my loved Grado Statement Master cartridge

Someone here could suggest me about good but not super-expencive Silver IC cables I could buy online without to sell my car?

Thanks in advance for your help

I'm looking to rewire my turntable, too. Since I'll have to solder the IC's, I'd like to pick the right cables the first time. Are the posts above giving opinions specifically for phono cables?
Is there a reason why Silver is the material of choice in this particular application

I'm looking for a cable as well and interested in hearing more

I have tried 3 different silver hybrid cable interconnects:

1. Better Cables Silver Serpent
2. IXOS Silver Gamma3
3. Signal Cable Silver interconnects

This is also the order of my preferences. I found that the Better Cables interconnect best preserved the detail and warmth of the music. The IXOS was similar in that respect, but a shade less warm. Both the Better Cables and IXOS seemed to get along with different speaker cables that I used (QED Silver Anniversary and Signal Cable basic copper).

The Signal Cable was a different story. I paired the Signal Silver IC with the Signal Cable Silver speaker cables ... talk about wretched excess. After listening to enough systems over the years, I find I can sometimes notice subtle differences, but almost never is there a jaw dropping experience for me. Not so here. The combination of the two produced an almost screechy effect in the highs. I replaced the IC with the Ixos Silver Gamma and things were OK again.

The morale here is see if you can audition before buying.

One last time trying to get it right. If you're looking for a terrific silver I/C at a great price, contact Steve @ My Audio Cables. He'll have what you want and You'll also enjoy dealing with him. It's a 10 day wait for the cables, but well worth it.
Sorry, I misread your post and answered about the wrong connection. As far as general I/C's go, I'm also a fan of Vampire Wire. The AI-II would serve your purposes as they are quite neutral with excellent tonality.
I USE VAMPIREWIRE SILVER BETWEEN MY PHONO AND PREAMP VERY NICE CABLE,CHECK OUT THEIR SITE.THEY DO TAKE A LONG TIME TO BREAK IN.
I've gone from really good contnuous cast copper to silver plated copper to okay silver to very good silver from my TT to the phono stage. What I learned was that the smaller the guage of wire (and also less wires), the less smearing I encountered. Now I use a single silver wire cable from MAC. It easily sounds the best with my system.
The fact that a cable is silver does not mean anything, except price. I have heard bright and dull silver cables, copper cables that have sounded better than silver, etc. Base your decision on listen, not on hype, and you will be satisfied in the long run
