Shunyata Speaker Cables Sigma v.1 vs Alpha v.2

I am looking for a new pair of speaker cables and I really enjoy Shunyata cables. I am wondering if I would be better off buying the newer Alpha v.2 over the Sigma v.1. Only thing I care about is how they perform sonically.  I don’t care about the looks. Thanks for your time in helping me make a decision.
