Shipping B&O RX2 Turntable

Correcting spelling of my discussion title, and now for the question ___
If there is no original packing box and no interior cardboard or styrofoam pieces for supporting the turntable components, can someone please describe how to safely protect the platter and the integral tone arm along with the turntable?
Thanks for your experience in letting me know what to do when shipping  this classic model.
