Set up for Rockport Aviors

What makes you want to get rid of your model 5's? They're exceptional speakers.

The Aviors are one of the best speakers on the planet...plenty of other good ones also like your Vadies...

I think you'll find the Aviors compete way above their price tag...like more than 2x..my opinion here.

You have a good room size...the Aviors should fit in nicely and a good dealer will easily be able to get great performance from them...even with out the adjusts other speakers offer...

I will follow this thread closely. I love my Avalon Eidolon Diamonds but I have been wanting to hear the Aviors for some time. I'm crossing my fingers they (or other Rockports) will be at RMAF 2014, as I will be going.

My room is similar to yours: 21 x 15 x 9ft. My Eidolons work well with that size and the Aviors are very similar in size.

My room size is smaller than yours : 23'x14'x10' and the Aviors blend beautifully. I also have 2x REL G1 subs for <28 hz.

Keith - hope to see you at RMAF. Unfortunately from the RMAF website, I can't find Rockport anywhere on it this year.

We were going to show at RMAF (we are a Rockport dealer - Cake Audio - located in Southern CA, but decided to focus on the Newport Show. I will be attending RMAF just to enjoy the show. We have available for audition the Atria, Avior and Arrakis. In about 3 months we will be adding the Altair's. We have a travel reimbursement program for anyone that wants to travel to SoCal for an audition and purchases any Rockport model. I'm happy to answer any questions regarding Rockport speakers and setup.
