Schiit Freya + tube rolling

I’m really enjoying my freya+, I’d like to get into tube rolling. It comes with 6sN7 but I believe it can host a variety of others. Is anyone having sexy results with aftermarket tubes?

When I want to roll tubes at reasonable cost, I go to Brent Jessee recording, aka, http://www.audiotubes.com. Here is his 6SN7 page: http://www.audiotubes.com/6sn7.htm. Over the years I've gotten RCA greyglass 6V6GT, mil surplus ultra low noise Philips EL84WA, and many others including RCA 6922, etc. You also might benefit from a conversation with Kevin Deal, proprietor of https://www.upscaleaudio.com/pages/about.
I've had great luck with both of these vendors.

Thanks for your advice @wolf_garcia..  Before you wrote I didn't know what to do with my time.

Next time a moron asks me a question, I'll just let it go . . . and tend to my mallet.
Yeah, there's been some concern about the new powered volume setup on new Freyas. I have the original version and the remote is extremely accurate (capable of "one click" level changes with the perfectly fine supplied remote). The new version seems to overshoot or undershoot or something, causing intense "first world" suffering among some, and is utterly ignored among others. Seriously, who has the time for that sort of thing? I could be leveraging my bitcoin accounts or selling derivative contracts in the time it would take to zero in on Freya + levels...sheesh...you just have to suck it up and walk away...get that polo mallet fixed...ask yer mom to clean your basement sound space for you...get the Prius waxed...wind all the watches...
@wolf_garcia: "What actually IS its user interface?"

Mostly it's the remote control of its volume.  The new Freya motorized volume control design using the old cheap remote makes it slower, and tends to overshoot in each direction.  May take a few tries to get the exact volume you want.
Its user interface is poor? What actually IS its user interface? In any case, these things are great preamps (I have the original version) and they allow some tube rolling fun...I prefer NOS GEs as they're relatively inexpensive and sound great, but Sylvania "chrome domes" and many, many other options are a great area to explore.
I am enjoying mine too. Cannot believe the performance at this price though its user interface is poor.

There is a long Freya tube rolling thread on Head-Fi.

But you should probably move this to Amps Preamps forum, if you can.
