Once you get the arm to float, hold the weight and turn the ring with numbers on it until it gets to zero. There should be a line etched into the back of the arm and set the ring to zero on that line. Then grab the weight and numbered ring and turn it until you get your desired weight. Easy peazy.
Sansui SR 717 Tone arm balance question
I am not familiar with this tone arm balance set up.
i don't see any anti skate adjustment.
.... I do see a round ring with numbers on it with a weight behind it that turns.
I can get the arm to float , however ,I do not know where to set the numbers.
This is different than my Technics SL 1600 which has anti-skate set ring
How do I set the balance on this Sansui arm ?
