You would need to find a DAC that is "Roon Ready" which means that it has a built in rendered/player if you want it simply to connect via the network.
Roon Nucleus as a streamer
A rather simple question. I have a Roon Nucleus which I use with a Linn Steamer/DAC. Both are connected to my router ( Linn has no digital inputs). Thinking of upgrading my DAC ( and by default my Linn).
I know the Nucleus can be used as a streamer when set up with a USB DAC. But, can the Nucleus work as a streamer when connected by ethernet to the router ?
