Rolling Stones - Hackney Diamonds

To my ears the recording of Hackney Diamonds sounds the way fast food tastes.

The only issue I have is a bunch of 80 year olds doing the same old act.  No real progression of the music that one would expect from a lifetime of new experiences. Kinda sad really. Still a fan but only of the music they made that was somewhat innovative back then and  suited their age at the time.  I grew up with it after all. 

biwire, yeah the same way Exile on Main Street compares to Sticky Fingers. Exile was definitely a rush job to capitalize on the success of SF. 🙄

Fan of Hackney Diamonds and they had a lot of other material from those sessions that are going to be released.

Mom passed the morning of the album release. 
Sweet Sounds Of Heaven was played quite a few times that day.
