They were a sensation from the get-go, a grittier, bluesier alternative to The Beatles, with tentpole mega hits like The Last Time, Satisfaction, Paint It Black, and Sympathy For The Devil…before Brian Jones’ passing. I pick Let It Bleed as the pinnacle, just as Taylor signed on.
