RME-ADI-2 owners, do you use all the features?

Yesterday I took delivery of a RME-ADI-2 FS to upgrade from my Schiit Modius.

I knew going into it that the DAC offered up a lot of goodies but never imagined just how confusing this thing can be!  The menu system is very "german" might be the same guy who designed BMW's interface...........

What features do you use?  Or do you use any at all and just use it as a straightforward DAC?

Still playing with the filter options, not hearing a ton of difference but just started.  Might use the equalizer once I finally figure out how to use REW.

Just wondering if there are some must-use options and what your favorites are for this unit.

l learned the ADI-2 menu system, futzed around with it until I found my preferred settings.(e.g. sharp filter)... and rarely touch the menu system anymore.  Once in a blue moon I'll wander around the settings, change nothing then sit back down and put on music.  More power to those who actually use more of its features... most of it superfluous to the average user.  BTW-- I love the ADI-2 and have no plans to upgrade anytime soon.
If you go to RME ADI-2 DAC Walkthrough menu on U-Tube. You can view a 5 part step by step video on how to use the different functions on the DAC. Easy to follow.
I had that DAC for awhile in my headphone setup, just because I liked its stock sound better than the Hugo 2 I had been using; I didn't use any of those features, and I just sold it, in fact, as I replaced it with a DAVE + M Scaler, which I then replaced with a Holo May KTE DAC.
Appreciate it.

Yes, I'm really liking it so far.  The volume control threw me for a bit as to where it should be since I'm not using it as a preamp and didn't know where to set it.

I'm using the slow filter too and it goes well with my Freya +

I love this DAC! I use the balanced outputs and replaced the PS with a Teddy Pardo. These made definite sonic improvements for me. I use the slow filter which yields a warmer sound. I have attempted the DSP and Tone and found just to leave it alone because I don't need room correction.  The RME support is very good so I would reach out to them with any questions you might have. For me I'm running this off my MacBook Pro Audrivana into my Octave V70 Class A with stunning results so I am happy. Enjoy!
