RIP Doug Ingle

Yep … fond memories of “IN A GADA DA VIDA” in vinyl, floating in my university dorm framed by the aroma of beer and a gossamer veil of Maui Wowee wafting over JBL L100’s driven by a MARANTZ 2245 receiver, and ELAC MIRACORD TT fitted with a SHURE V15 cartridge.

pure Ambrosia in that Jurassic era of our audio hobby.

Metamorphosis is their best album. Highly recommended

That song made me cringe even as a teenager who loved rock, but I know it's dear to many, so I'll give him a RIP.

One of the first concerts I saw as a young person. Mind Garage, Rhinoceros and the Iron Butterfly. I loved the use of Inna Gada in Mann's Manhunter film.
