McVie's family said she "passed away peacefully" surrounded by loved ones at a hospital after a "short illness."

Rumours was released in '77, I married in '78 with no cares in the world, and in a flash forward, another icon of my generation has passed.... Perhaps she was still under contract from another label? I saw them live first in late 1970 (I think) and she was there on stage. I lost interest in FM when Nicks joined as her vocals rub me the wrong way, also not a fan of Buckingham’s guitar work. DeKay
