Rhino High-Fidelity record jackets

I just got 3 Doors titles on Rhino High Fidelity - they sound great, but the records fit into the jackets so tightly that it's a real struggle taking them out to begin with, and then putting them back in is even worse; I've already got a tear in one of the inner sleeves from jamming it in.

Anybody else have this problem and figure out a good solution? I've never experienced this with any other LP's, going back to the 60's, except for these Rhino High Fidelity ones.

@lewm is referring to placing the sleeved record in an outer jacket protector, not trying to put the sleeved record back in the jacket. I've used this practice for years, less friction (which causes static), less wear and tear on the jacket itself. I've tried numerous aftermarket jacket sleeves and inner sleeves- my preference these days has been the Sleeve City oversized outer jacket sleeve (can accommodate a double LP with room to spare) and presents like Mylar- clear and stiff, rather than a hazy "bag." Out of all the various "audiophile" inners I've used, I found that the Japanese round bottom ones seem to shed the least. Good luck.

I use a generic jacket with a hole cut out to protect the backside and keep all original liners and other paper ephemera that have artifact value. No risk of damage to record; in fact, you can more easily remove and resleeve without damage without trying to shove the resleeved record back into the jacket. Downside is that the "package" as a whole takes up more shelf space. But it’s a personal choice.
