Replacement for Verus rim drive

Since Chris Brady seems to have stopped making his Verus motors: any suggestion for rim drives for a mass turntable (Scheu Das Laufwerk2)?

Reposting, hopefully on the right thread this time 😉

I have the Verus on mine. https://systems.audiogon.com/systems/8367
Have you tried contacting Chris? I was able to reach him through the website earlier this year. No idea what might be comparable, and I am interested since even though these have been highly reliable you never know.... If you find something let me know. Even if you can't, let me know because I may still have my previous generation Teres motor pod somewhere out in my shop.
Okay, so turns out I do have my original Teres motor stored away here. Complete with the wall wart power supply and platter speed sensor. The motor is currently mounted in an improved motor pod that I made out of carbon fiber and exotic hardwood. But it could easily go back in the original black aluminum pod.

Not quite as good as the Verus, but a pretty darn good motor and a more than decent alternative if you aren't able to find anything else.
Thanks @millercarbon,

mine is still working: since it‘s such a great motor I was hoping to see someone carry on, specifically in further improving the controller given all the advances in digital regulation of electric motors. Vpi have a rim drive, not sure, though whether it is universally adaptable.Â
