Rega have a great thing going. Using their design philosophy as justification, they can offer less and less (structure) for more and more $$$. This reminds me of one definition of a "specialist", as a person who knows more and more about less and less until he knows everything about nothing. All kidding aside, I am sure that the Naia will be a fine performing turntable, as is the P10. However, given the information offered, it is impossible (for me at least) to say whether the Naia will be a better performer than the P10. Do you see something here that answers that question for you?
Rega Naia later this year
I hope I can remain happy with my P10 and resist this for a few years
Anyone excited to get one?

It would be fun to compare. I appreciated an improvement going from the RP10 to the P10. They mention the new tonearm, ceramic hub, new feet along with new plinth material. I may have missed some but I would expect those to offer an appreciable upgrade. I like to buy used so will likely wait a few years and see how things are going with the Naia |
