Rega Drive Pulley Issue

I bought my Rega P5 in January of this year and recently purchased the optional power supply (TT PSU). The table sounds great although I just noticed that the main drive pulley has a slight wobble. I can not hear any wow or flutter from the wobble. So, my question is do any of you that own a Rega table notice any wobble from your drive pulley. Is this normal, or a defect? If this is a defect, should they replace the table, or replace the whole motor assembly? I am a vinyl newbie, so any advice on this matter would be appreciated.

Thanks for you input!!

It's normal. Rega build-quality and quality control unfortunately just isn't what it used to be.
If it's anything like the P2, it's normal. The motor on my P2 isn't solidly mounted to the base. It's suspended in place by a rubber band, thus free to move around.
If yours has a cover over the motor held on by screws, you can remove it and see the motor and how it's mounted.
The motor and the shaft seem to be attached firmly. It looks like the pulley was not machined correctly. I am going to call Rega to see what they say about this wobble! I just spent over $300 dollars on the TTPSU which seems like a waste of money if the pulley is not machined or installed correctly!
Rick-I've been reading several of your posts since you purchased your Rega TT. You and I are cut from the same cloth-we're VERY hard to please and we worry a lot! It sounds like this TT experience is not fun but stressful. Needless to say, it's supposed to be fun. TTs are the joint. NOTHING else gives me the same pleasure in hifi. So...I suggest you get yourself a TT that rocks your world AND is as close to perfect (from a manufacturing perspective) as it can be. Do I have any ideas? Move up the Rega line, or get a Linn LP 12 (as long as you have a great set-up person close to your home).
I called REGA(Sound Organization) today, and the rep I spoke to said that the wobble was not normal. Although, the rep asked if I could here any effects of the wobble when playing a record. He then said that it must not be bad enough to cause a problem and not to really worry about it. I then told him that I just spent over $300 bucks on the TTPSU and asked him why should I have bothered buying the power supply to help vibration if the pulley is wobbling. The rep then told me to take my table to my dealer and have them look at the table. If the pulley is in fact wobbling they would most likely send my dealer a new motor and pulley unit.

I will call me dealer tomorrow and see what they are going to do for me. I believe they ordered a new P5 the same time I received my table. I will look at the pulleys on the dealers tables and see if they have the wobble issue as well.

I will update you all after going to my local dealer! Thanks for the input!
My dealer contacted Rega about the wobble in my drive pulley, and Rega agreed to replace the whole motor and pulley unit! They said there should not be any wobble in the pulley! Although, I looked at the stores demo table and could see a slight amount of wobble, but not nearly as bad as my table! Hopefully, the new motor and pulley will be wobble free!
Got my table back a few days ago with the new motor & pulley, and all is well! I wouldn't say the pulley is 100% perfect, but it is 95% better than it was. You have to look really hard to see the slightest imperfection.
The folks at Sound Organization have always been more than helpful to me when I have had questions/problems. They even invited me to visit their location Dallas when I visit family in the Big D. They even follow up on a timely basis to be sure I am completely happy.
