How are the woofer surrounds? Foam often decays and needs replacement. Crossovers should still be good. Any speaker stored for years will require some running-in at a moderate SPL to loosen up the moving parts of the drivers!
Rebuilding Ruark Talisman Mk1 Speakers`
Hi All
I have some original Ruark Talisman Mk1 Speakers from early-mid 1990s. They have been stored for a long time and sound pretty dead. They were great quality back in the day and as I have some time I wonder if these might be worth restoring / upgrading / rebuilding. Unlikely to be worth dropping a lot of money on but if people are aware of an upgrade path and replacement parts that would be super helpful.
