Forget the Rega product - heard it is not available for the P8 or P10. I've heard of Black Diamond Racing, Symposium and Townshend. Feet, shelves or a combination. Your help is appreciated. One twist - I would like to keep the height of the table above the surface the same as it is now (or as close as possible) as I use a Tru Lift automatic arm lifter that is placed in the hole between the arm and the platter and rises through there.
Question for Rega P8 or P10 owners
I've been hearing more about vibration control and would like to hear from anyone with a Rega P8 or P10 (these have the same 3 rubber feet on the base of the plinth).
The options seem wide ranging from replacing feet with different products, adding a shelf with or without buying new feet or upgrading to Rega's rigid foot mounts. It could be anywhere from $80 to $600 or more. I've heard that the rigid foot mounts do a lot and are a direct replacement for the standard rubber ones.
Ideal would be someone who has compared Rega's product with something else and can give an opinion. Also, what environment they were installed in and how much it cost. Thanks.
