The tweeters are probably a name brand. Why not remove one and see what it says? It could be a reasonable price, and it's likely that there held on with clips, not soldered which would make it even easier.
Quad 22L2, tweeters are dead.
Hi, guys, I have nice Quad 22L2, but alas, the tweeters were burnt. I know neither where to get spare tweeters (they are discontinued) nor how to replace them. Thinking of , maybe, selling those for parts or to somebody who can fix them. Have no idea what price to set. A 200? 100? With tweeters their price probably 800-900$ and the sound is unique. Any places that might be interested to trade them in?
They still look great and sound nice, but obviously no highs. Just hate to through the speakers away if somebody might use them.
