Qobuz Connect

I was enthusiastic about Qobuz connect when it became available.  I have been using Qobuz with Roon and liked it, but Qobuz connect would offer a simpler, more direct connection.

However, I find that Qobuz connect intermittently will stop in a tract mid-stream, provide a notice that it cannot connect to that tract and move on to the next one. I have had this problem with several different high end streamer/dac/preamp setups on several different networks, including in a high end dealer store.  The experts there, who are top notch, think that it it is perhaps that Qobuz connect is new and they have not worked out the bugs yet.  There have been several updates, but the problem persists.

Anybody else have this problem?  Has Qobuz commented on it?

Thanks everybody!

I am running a Linn ADSM/3 streamer/dac/preamp using the 'Linn app' that runs in IOS.  Qobuz connect is not available for my streamer at this time.  I have not tried any other software.  What would I gain going to something like Audirvana or Roon?

Confused. I get Qobuz on my blue iOS with no issues. Is Qobuz connect a separate entity than connection of Qobuz as one of the services provided(and paid for) with my blue os?

Mine works fine with the Eversolo DMP A6, WiiM Pro Plus and the Wiim Amp. No issues at all. Love Qobuz Connect. Dropped Tidal after Connect.

Hey Everybody

I run QC on my Aurender N150 and it works well. Although it was a giant Monkey Turd when it first came out. But after a few updates from Qobuz and a firmware update from Aurender it started working.  It does seem to "Hang" every once in a while. A pause/resume  generally makes it right.

WiiM Pro with RME ADI-2 to Qobuz Connect. No issue.

When I've contacted Qobuz, they always get back to me. They are slower at times so you may not get a reply for a couple of days but then they engage on the follow ups better. That's when one person is handed the ticket issue.
