Main speaker placement- fundamentally wrong?
I was amazed at the improvement in sound using the Linn endorsed Tunedem method.  Position of the speakers is correct when the music sounds the best to the listener, not when the measurements say it is correct.
Thoughts on Speakers for a Small Audio/Video Room
I was using a pair of Chameleon Towers.  Pretty much entry level.
Thoughts on Speakers for a Small Audio/Video Room
my room is also very small (10' x 11').  I am using Linn m109 stand mount speakers, powered by a. Linn 100 Class D amp.  Very happy.  I previously use a low-end pair of Sonus Faber speakers and was equally happy with them.  I only changed for aest...
Tweaking Your Speaker Placement
as some have mentioned; this distance is irrelevant. Move them according to sound, not distance.
All-in-One units for retiring audiophile & music lovers in 2025, say what?
I did exactly that. McIntosh pre, McIntosh power amp, Parasound phono amp, Bluesound streamer, LP12 tt, Sonus faber floorstanders.  Current system consists of Linn DSM, LP12, and Linn M109 speakers. Does everything old system did in much smaller p...
Can you recommend Jazz for some one that doesn't like Jazz?
I am also not a traditional jazz fan, but I do like groups/people like Bob James, Weather Report, and Spyro Gyra.
Test tones through Qobuz, is this possible?
I ran the test tones.  I tried both through my speakers and my headphones and found out just how crappy my ears really are.  I don't hear anything at 8khz and higher and nothing below 50hz.  Kinda depressing.  Good thing is I see no need to spend ...

Will an Amp change improve my system ?
For some of us, less is more.  I went from full on separates to a one piece system and couldn't be happier.  I sold all my McIntosh separates, and my Bluesound equipment and purchased a Linn MDSM all in one unit.  It has everything built into one ...
Do you have a perfect digital marriage?
I have gone from all separates (McIntosh and Bluesound) to a one piece system.  A Linn MSDM and I find the sound much better.  But bear in mind I am in my late 70's so my hearing is not as good as younger people.
new member, some questions, need help please
I retired a few years back and also wanted to get a nice system. In the past (since the 70’s) I have had pretty economical systems. I wanted something more high-end. In listening to systems I discovered that my hearing is not what it was when was ...
All in One Solution for Streaming
I went with a Linn MDSM/4.  It does everything I need and does it well
After years of separates, I'm going integrated. Anyone else do the same?
I would love to go integrated. I currently run a McIntosh MX-130 and MC-7150. I would love to have an MA452. Only thing holding me back is money😎
