PS Audio built into room circuit?

I've been thinking that I'd like to have the dedicated circuit to my 2 channel room run to the side of the room and place the PS Audio 600 out of the way. Then run a separate line from the PS Audio to an outlet behind the amp, preamp and cd units. I believe that removing the Ps Audio reduces then size and amount of magnetic and electrical field present and might/should improve the sound production. I am concerned that running 10 guage romex to a hospital grade outlet, then using my power cords will reduce the effectiveness of the power cords.

What do you think?

Thanks Sean,

I have considered the same, but, I want the option of being able to change the configuration of the voltage/frequency and multiwave without a 100 foot walk. Also for me, the room below the living room is the boiler room and I don't think it would help the PS Audio.

If you do make the change, I'd appreciate hearing from you as to the effect it has, if any, on system performance.

I want the wiring to be in the wall. Do you think the effect of using a non powercord after the PS Audio will reduced the effect of the PS Audio?

Hi Metaphysics,

Currently, my amp and PS Audio are on a Zoethecus 2high amp stand situated between the speakers and almost exactly at the midpoint between the speakers. My intent is to get the amp lower to the ground to improve the soundstage. In your opion do you think that the benefit, if any, of moving the PS Audio away from the front end pieces and amp and lowering the amp would be apparent and if so, enough to justify running a twenty foot PS Audio Lab cable?
