ProAc Response 2.5 vs Totem Mani 2

I want overall good sound but especially deep low bass is wanted in small room ( about 20m )
I am thinking about ProAc Response 2.5 ( relatively small floorstanders ) and Totem Mani 2 ( standmouters but known for their bass potential )
Price for used is similar
What do You think which one will be a better choice
Thanks for any compare and advice

I have not heard to Proac...  If you like imaging, the Totems are likely to perform better.

a member posts a question to ask a vs b - which is better...

a reply says - well, i have not heard a, but i have b, and let me tell you, b will work better than a...

just how does one come to that conclusion???? 🙄
I have not heard to Proac. But I have a set of Totem speakers in my office system. I really like them, they sound spectacular and look even better. I have smaller ones with their small subwoofer... a great combination. They are punchy, natural sounding, and well integrated with the sub. If you like imaging, the Totems are likely to perform better. You can extend the soundstage even further by using two subs.
I will say that the Proac are an order of magnitude easier to drive than the Mani-2's. You have many more amp choices with the Proacs and they are very fine speakers.
in my experience both produce very fine bass

but for the rest of the range, i prefer proac over totem by a wide margin

agree with other comment that both speakers need very good powerful clean amp driving them for max potential realized
I have not heard the Totem, but I did own the ProAc Response 2.5. They do go very low, but are inefficient, so they require a fairly powerful amp to get the best bass from them.

You may have read the review (see below link) in Stereophile which states "They were down only 3dB at 25Hz and –7dB at 20Hz. That's plenty of audible and palpable energy at 20Hz."
