Pro-ject X1B Balanced Cable Problem

I recently purchased a Pro-ject X1B turntable to use with my Schiit Skoll phono preamp. After having grounding issues I emailed Schiit support and learned that the Pro-ject supplied cable has issues with third party phono preamps according to Pro-ject USA. Has anyone used a cable that you could recommend? The cable is a 5-pin din to dual XLRs. The main reason I bought the table was for the balanced feature.

Do you have more specific information about the cable issues?

The left channel had hum and the hum followed the cable to the right channel when I switched sides. Pro-ject indicated that the issue is common when their cable is used on any other phono preamp than theirs. My dealer’s tech called Pro-ject USA and was immediately told the issue is using the cable on a different brand phono preamp than theirs. Go figure. This is a first for me.
