A passive attenuator would be the way to go. The problem is finding a good one with remote that's not extremely expensive. The Placette is great, but probably over the top for this application. There are great attenuators, but I can't think of any with a remote other than the Placette. Perhaps someone here knows of one.
preamp for subwoofer
I have built a very complete subwoofer system for my hometheater.I would like to purchase a preamp (remote included) that I could control the output without going through a maze of menu's to raise and lower volume.My first thoughts were preamp like Creek OBH-12.My first concern is frequency response and the ability to pass a bass signal without degradation of the signal.My target price is 200.00 used Thanx
