Thanks for all the input. As always the law of diminishing returns apply. The supplied wall wart is basic at best.
Power Supply Upgrade for Bluesound Nano
Just purchased a Bluesound Nano to use as a dedicated streamer/dac. Performance is outstanding, but am considering a outboard power supply upgrade.
My system is currently comprised as follows:
Belles Aria Two Integrated Amplifier
Bluesound Nano
Vandersteen VLR-CT speakers
Audioquest Cabling and Power Conditioning
Skylan Speaker Stands
Considering Sbooster or Ifi power supplies. Any recommends would be greatly appreciated.

Upgraded my Bluesound with PD Creative out of Poland. Nice guy there was taking in refugee families from Ukraine at the time but still answered my questions and shipped promptly. I like the results, too. |
@kofibaffour I can tell you my bluesound node 2 has a very bad layout in the power supply, it has two capacitors in the middle of two regulator heat sinks and a transformer on the other side. These two capacitors get hot and prematurely fail, but on the bluesound forum they tell you it's a firmware update that went south. I had to look on a few different forums to actually find out what was really happening, it was the two capacitors, I put two new capacitors in and the red light of death was gone and the node 2 was working again. |
