Power Distribution - to separate source components from amplification?

I was wondering what the current thinking is on separating source/digital components from my pre/power amps.

At the moment, I have the Puritan Audio Labs PSM156 feeding everything; would it be beneficial to get another power distribution block and separate?

Digital

Streamer/network switch(LHY SW8)/DAC/DDC

Amplification

Pre and power amp

Thanks guys

Sometimes. I do recommend a dual zone approach. One zone for your purely audio devices and another for networking/streaming. The main issue is really the power supply polluting an already cleaned up AC. Ethernet/router wall warts tend to be terribly noisy to putting them in their own zone is a good thing. I recommend a Furman PST-8 as a low cost, high value option. Best in class surge suppression plus excellent linear noise filtering. Also good for your TV, etc. If you buy a Furman make sure to get a unit with SMP/LiFT at the very least.
