Power cords: Kimber Kable Palladium

Anyone have experience with the Kimber power cords.

I read an Audio Bacon review suggesting they have great timbre and tonal qualities.

Looking for a PC for my DAC

@kennyc - How would you describe the Snake River Taishaka power cables? With power cables, I personally believe the differences are subtle. Other components, such as Dacs, bring much larger sonic differences…

I’m curious about your impressions of the Snake River cables. Please share!

Haven’t tried them yet, I’m in the middle of a house move so everything is packed - living out of bags. I purchased the Takshaka based on a seasoned WBF contributor who compared them against MasterBuilt PCs and noticed minimal differences in his seemingly price-no-object system.  MasterBuilt cables were designed by USA government “superconductor” scientists as a side project, the top-of-line is a proprietary metal blend.

I was trying to reach the Audioquest Dragon transparency/performance level but at a more affordable price.  Other PCs I seriously considered were VooDoo and RSX (former MIT cables designer, seems to be targeting high value with performance).

If you are going from a Delta Sigma DAC to say, an R2R DAC, in this case (IMO/IME) - The DAC may make a bigger difference. When I first tried Jonny’s Signature PC’s, it was the first time I actually considered a PC an actual "component".

Fast forward to the Takshaka’s? Even though the Signature was my first PC that I considered a component, the Takshaka’s are simply on a whole other level of playback capability. On every aspect that any discerning audiophile would want or look for. There is an extensive review that was recently posted over at the WBF, that goes into a bit more detail about what that member observed.

I know of one person that sold off their entire loom of AQ Dragons for a full loom of Takshaka’s and is much happier with the Takshaka’s.. Jonny knocked this cable and design out of the park! The quietness, palpability and timbre are just off the charts. The cumulative effect is outstanding.
