Poor Fritz

There’s no better value and no one as willing to make bespoke speakers out there than Fritz and these forums treat his speakers as if they cost $200K.
They don’t. They are remarkably affordable and yet potential customers put him through the absolute ringer, asking for custom features, going through 2 or 3 models of home auditions and maybe not even buying any of them.

Look, you buy what you want to buy, but I think not enough credit is given to the man or his speakers in terms of the overall value proposition and I think this is a disservice overall.  If you write a 5 page review, please keep this very much in mind that you are not reviewing Wilson or Focal's flagships.  Maybe he doesn't deserve quite the same scrutiny.

I am an owner of Fritz's Carerra BE's and have had several speakers over the years from Klipschorns, Forte's, B&W, Paradigm and Zu Druids. For the quality, components, craftsmanship (cabinets are outstanding, woodgrain perfectly matched/pair), these are the real deal in a compact package. Bass response is astounding and tuning with Nordst systems solution disc, his low end rating is conservative at best. Auditioned for several friends who looked all over for the absent sub. Properly positioned, these produce quite the soundstage, yes, you can see the instruments. For the price point, I dare anyone to produce a better sound. Running a modified Dynaco ST-70 (KT-66) and do not be fooled by the sensitivity rating of 87 db. Listened to these at an audiofest and purchased - no regrets whatsoever. Treat your ears to Musica Nuda live at FIP, (excellent engineering)  Highly recommend an A/B test. Fritz is a great guy and makes a exceptional product.
