The L800 aren't bad speakers and NFM is a bad place for a demo of any speaker, much less one that has specific setup requirements. Whether or not they hold up to their retail is a different story and one I won't comment on.
Polk L800
Why do so many people give this a great review and act like they’re doing something so new and different that is revolutionary. I heard them at Nebraska Furniture Mart the other day and asked him to turn it off. I know, it’s a demo room.. But i found the speakers to be ugly, basic, and it sound like I took my normal speakers and turned them backwards toward the corners.
