Please Recommend some Charlie Parker Recordings!

For some strange reason I’ve never gotten into him!

TIA

A lot of of my jazz friends regard "Charlie Parker With Strings" as sort of a betrayal of Parker's most riffiest riled up playing, but to me the strings tracks let him play more mellifluously and with more room to breath. His deftness and spot on timing and tonal variety with his instrument "shows" more humanely and dare I say "classically."

My go-to is The Legendary Dial Masters. There's a double CD that you can find for around $35. I regard that as a superior investment.

“Yardbird Suite: The Ultimate Collection” is a two CD set that is a good intro.

Fun thread, everyone. Happy to say I have every CD mentioned.

Anyone heard Vincent Herring, Bobby Watson and Gary Bartz's CD,

"Bird at 100"?
