I’ve run siltech speaker cables for about 10 years now and am very happy with the sound quality. I have the first gen FT-12 ribbon 4 wire (each cable has 4 wires) cables They are very detailed and open sounding wire. If you have an overly bright sounding system you may want to look at copper. I wont ever sell my siltech wires they brought a whole new level of enjoyment in my system. The build quality is very good as well. I know they have made improvements in the line since I got mine so probably much better then mine. I highly recommend them.
I have not even been inclined to listen to anything else in years so I’m not sure what others bring to the table now.
I have had a few copper cables but I always go back to the silver siltechs for the detail and openness.
I was never a cable guy I always thought cabels as long as they were the right size for the application you were fine. well one day the local dealer asked me to try out three cables from siltech as they were thinking of taking on the line. so I took them home and that’s when I heard why quality cables make a huge difference. I kept the FT12’s the middle priced ones that I listened to they were the better sounding ones in my system. $2800 list in the day gulp, I did get them at dealer cost though for helping in the trial. The dealer did take the line on.
It’s a rather funny time in my audio history I rented the upstairs apartment (all 2800sqft) above the audio shops building so way to close for my wallet.
