Pioneer Elite PD65 classic CD player

I have a Pioneer Elite PD65 which I presently have connected to a Mytek Brooklyn Dac+ via a coax cable.  My question is should I consider hooking up the PD65 directly to my Yamaha AS2200 and bypass the Mytek? Thoughts anyone?

You can have it hooked up both ways, that is what I do with my Esoteric Player.

My PD65 was modified by Musical Concepts including outboard power supply. The laser died and are no longer made. You are welcome to it for parts and possible use of the power supply. Just cover shipping
