Don’t know if that player has fuses - check those first. If there is no physical damage to internals or snipped wires, the issue could be power related (internal power transformer)

Also try plugging it in to a different outlet or a power conditioner. If it starts working but fails later on (intermittent failure) then there may be other factors at play.
