Pioneer Elite DV-38A and a Blue Blinking Light…

Just bought a gently used Elite DV-38A to use only for CD playback. After a couple of weeks while playing a CD the player made a quick buzz and froze up. Won’t play. Won’t eject the disc. The DVD light on the front panel only flashes blue. Tried unplugging etc. but nothing…
Help!  Any thoughts?
