Why do you need two switchable phono outputs? Wouldn’t that be the function of the preamp?

Hello, I have a want-list for a tubed phono stage and was wondering it any manufacturer has the ability to provide the following:
1, Separate inputs for two turntables (currently one MM and one MC)
2. Two switchable outs to accommodate two different amplifiers
Of course sonics is key.
