PHONO CART SUGGESTIONS

I have a REGA Rp3 Turntable with , TTPSU, Grove Tracer Reference Sub-platter and Elys2 Cartridge. I am using a Dynavector p75 preamp. It sounds great with New Albums but with most of the used albums I buy it is rather dry and uninteresting. There is also inner groove distortion . What cart have you switched to from the Elys2? I need something that is better with used albums. I have a lot more used albums than new.

Note: The used albums have been cleaned and I use the majic eraser after each album.

Thanks

The 20X2-L may be a choice to consider.

Excellent combo. I have exactly that on one of my TT's.
Your Rega is just letting you know the old albums were played on some crap TT with 6K hours on the $50 AT cart that came with it. New cart won't change that.
The Dynavector 10x5 is a perfect match for your RB250 or RB300 arm you are using. Save the $ and get the 10x5 , you will not regret it.All vinyl sounds different so you just need to find better sounding used records..I suggest GRUV GLIDE your used records and see if that helps.
Proper alignment and clean records are essential.

Ignore the gruv glide recommendation. Unnecessary snake oil that contributes nothing to playback or record wear.

The 10 is very good but the 20 is in a different league. Also, the P75 can handle the low output version of the 20. That's another big upgrade.
Try no antiskate (I use none, antiskate pulled all the way out towards you, on my RP6 with all the goodies like your setup). I really like the a fine line tracker that helps inner groove distortions like the AT 33PTG/II I am using from 2juki on eBay for $488 out the door (express shipping with no customs fees). I think there is a similar piced AT if you need MM / high output MC.
Sbronwnnw,

I am trying the no-anti-skake per your insturctions. Seems like the sound is a little more dynamic and full. I have set the VTF to 1.75 using a digital scale per the instructions...
