Opinions on Time - Life CD Sets

Our used book/CD store got a batch of brand,sealed new Time Life sets of Johnny Cash - The Complete Sun Recordings. They are going for $14.98. I picked up one and the packaging is outstanding. The SQ seems great as well. What is the general consensus on the Time-Life sets sound quality?

the price will be right, if you can handle (tolerate) "greatest hits" and best of stuff.

I would check them out. If your used book/CD store is anything like mine, you have 30 days to return them for a full refund. So you have nothing to loose. I have some of the Time Life 1970's AM Gold series and the quality seems fine.

I've been using the Time/Life CD collections for 25 years
and have always thought they had great remastering, especially the Classic Rock 50s-70s ones.
