Opinions on audio equipment and brown outs

I’ve looked at conditioners vs regenerators. From my experience the current is alot different in buissness hours vs prime times. Experiences between conditoners and regenerators with experiences using different parameters like peak times, cable impedence between types, and efficancy ratings, etc... with experiences.

Thanks

What's your power consumption, audio gear class, and speaker efficency? Mine is 300 watts per mono with 87% speaker efficency. If I hit 122 from start it will knock my monster meter down to 118 or 117. I have to wait till my meter is around 124 to drop to 120 at startup. I'm afraid I'll starve my amps. Do you see your power drop at power up?

Do you ever run at different hours, or wonder why it sounded better yesterday?

I listen at all hours of the day, and with the voltage regulator and Furman conditioner in place I never really hear a difference anymore.

Yeah, I get to 117 and I'll shut her down. The problem with me is extreme. Kind of like the problem with surge protectors. A gradual increase or decrease dependin on the subject, and the equipment doesn't work by those designs. Do you ever run at different hours, or wonder why it sounded better yesterday?

I use Furman conditioners, and they have two features which are related. EVS - Extreme voltage shutdown which detects extreme brownouts and whiteouts (say 130VAC or higher) and disconnects power.

The other is voltage regulation, which keeps my AC between 117 and 122 VAC at all times regardless of what else is running in the home.  This is not the microsecond response times, but good enough for me.
