Will you loose your settings if you do this? One thing to make sure is if you do unplug it do not do it for maybe 15 minutes as there are fans to cool down your Plasma even after you turn it off.

Do plasma tv's require a lot of juice when in stand-by mode??? I am trying to be as conservative as possible when it comes to my electrical needs...Will it create problems for the tv, if you unplug during the day???? Thanks in advance, brent
