I loved the look of the KEF Picoforte stuff but found it lean sounding with the "egg" speakers that it it comes with. (even paired with a subwoofer). I'm guessing that amp just needs speakers that are both extremely efficient and perhaps a tad warm. and a sub.
The Nuforce family sound is clean clear detailed fast and not euphonic in my experience, but have not heard Icon (yet).
