No Private Messages for Me
Audiogon requires a credit card to send private messages now. I don't want to put my card on their server to be hacked.
I have a couple of private messages sitting there now. Just posting this here so you realize that I won't be replying to your PM, not becasuse I don't want to, but because I can't. I'm sure there are others in the same boat.

I've gotten several new private messages from members who were able to send me a message. Perhaps you already have a credit card on file? Most companies keep your credit card for 7 years. Under each message is a box from Audiogon with this message in it: "You must have a verified phone number and payment method to send messages." Take care, Jerry |
@yogiboy that may be true, but for several years I was able to send private messages. I have messaged several members and a few of us have made contact outside of audiogon to get together and listen to music together. Perhaps I got blocked from sending PMs because I spoke to an audiogon member in real life. Jerry |
I've recieved more private messages from good-hearted forum members trying to help but can't reply to any of them. Same box with the same message in it and no "reply" option available. @dekay I tried clicking on your forum name and got your profile, system link, etc, but no message option. thanks for trying. I'm ok with this. I generally don't need private messages. If something is important, i'll just @ the person and post my message publicly. I've often offered forum members to stop by and have a listen. I'm in .....Carlsbad. (CA) Take care, Jerry |
