I heard the Fink speakers last year at the Florida audio show. They were equal to my small 2 way floorstanding speakers that cost tens of thousands less. I didn’t hear anything that set them apart from a decent smaller 2 way speaker from say Totem or Revel or GR Research.

As for stereophile stating these can be your end all speaker, what else is new? Everything these reviewers review are the best of the best.

Whipsaw-I had speakers with the original AMT drivers back in the 70’s so don’t say I don’t know amt. I’ve also heard many speakers that have their own versions of the amt driver. I have a smaller floor standing speaker (from 1 of the best speaker lines out there) that compares equally well to the finks, and they are almost $30k cheaper. I also have a large pair of $20k speakers from 1 of the top rated companies that blow away the finks, blow them away. For example, the Revel salon2/Studio 2 speakers for $20k ish blow away these finks, I can name off dozens of other speakers that I have had or auditioned ranging from $4k to almost $30k that blow away the finks.
‘The finks don’t bring anything special to the table. Taking a positive review from a trade mag is the last thing I would use to justify buying an audio component
