Neil Young calls out Tidal

TIDAL is calling their files of my songs Masters. But TIDAL’s MQA files are not my masters. I make my masters - not TIDAL. I made my masters the way I wanted them to sound. If TIDAL referred to their titles as TIDAL MASTERS, I would have no problem, but they don’t. They call them Masters. I had my music removed from that platform. They are not my masters.”.

Well I have a few things to say:

1 - MQA is a lossy compression scheme.  Don't get mad at me, read the Benchmark Media papers on it.

2 - Neil's Pono player with the Ayre output stage was the best headphone amp I've ever heard.  I don't know if Neil is an audiophile but his player sure was.

Just to talk about Jazz online:

I really like Roon radio and have discovered much I like by starting from 1 artist I know.

KCSM from Oakland and Jazz FM 91 from Toronto are really good jazz stations.
